Community events and activities

We are always pleased to welcome groups to the Somerset Earth Science Centre for educational or community events. You can enjoy full use of the Centre building, grass picnic area, lake and woodlands with space for up to 100 people.

Groups that have used our facilities for events included Somerset Wildlife Trust Big Draw, Mells 1st Cub Pack Environmental Partnership Award and Shepton Mallet Autism Support Group.

The Centre is also used as a venue for a variety of recreational activities, including yoga, spinning and willow weaving. We host one-off and regular events throughout the year, helping to bring the community together and supporting social health and wellbeing. We are always happy to consider adding new activities to our calender. Please contact us to find out more.
